Political feeling is becoming more intense, and tho campaign for tho two vacant seats, on which the Ministry's fate depends, is being fought with great bitterness on both sides. The electorates aro literally inundated with politicians. Federal members arc joining the fighting ranks. The lulling takes placo on Wednesday next. There will 1m a straight-out contest between Labour and Liberal candidates. The following have been nominated :— Liverpool Plains.—George William Ashford (Labour), John Perry (Liberal). Mudgeo.—William Fraser Dunn (Labour), Owen Gilbert (Liberal).
