COURSING.

A meeting of the Wellington Metropolitan Coursing Club was held at the New Zealander Hotel last night, Mr. J. Wareham presiding. Discussion took place over the appointment of the judges for tho forthcoming meetings, and, finally, Mr. Jas. J. O'Donoghue moved, and Mr. C. A. Schaucr seconded, that Mr. Chas. Cough, of Petone, bo asked to officiate This was agreed to. The secretary stated that Mr. P. H. Donoghue was again willing to officiate as slipper, and Mr. Ponoghne was reappointed. Mr. A. Hutchings was appointed hare steward, and Mr. W, E. Imtzfield steward.

It was decided to hold a big meeting on August 29-30. It was also decided to hold-a local meeting on Saturday next, August 12. Tho secretary stated that Mr. Hall visited the club's course, and had found the hares to be in strong condition.
