OAMARTJ'S EXCUSE. (By Tclccranh-Prcss Ansocialloß.l Oamaru, August 9, It is now said that the rowdyism thai occurred at the Drill Hall last night on the occasion of the assembling of tho Territorials was largely due to a gathering of those who had no connection with, the troops, but were out for mischief. Stones were thrown and windows broken, and the uproar lasted for a considerable time. About 110 Territorials were in tho Drill Hall, but theso wcro answerable- to discipline.
