THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES. The results of the election of three members to the Wellington Education Board, to fill the vacancies created by the statutory retirement of Messrs. J. G. W. Aitkea, "il. U. Elder, and A. 11. Vile, arc announced, as follow:— City Ward-Mr. J. G. W. Aitken (reelected), GS votes; Mr. D. M'Larai, M.P., 32. ' ■ Hutt-Horowhemia Ward.—Mr. F. Freeman (new'member), 127; Mr. H. H. Elder, 102. Wairarapa Ward.—Mr. A. H. Vile (re-elected, unopposed).
