There, is much concern in sports and athletic circles at the possibility of serious interference with both summer and winter games, by compulsory training, on, account of hnl'f-day and whole-day parades being fixed on statutory half-holidays. l'ho elTccfc will bo to debar all young men eligible lor military training from participating in the sport with which they arc identified, and to increase the difliciiltics of clubs and prove detrimental to all sport, especially summer pastimes.
