MANAWATU LADIES' CLUB. Members of the Manawatu Ladies' Golf Club had beautiful weather yosterday afternoon, when various competitions and the first round of the championship were decided. In the Senior A Division tho best cards were sent in.by Miss Moore. 110-20-90; Miss Sybil Abraham, 102-11-91; Mrs. Mackay, 110-19-91. In tho Senior B Class, Mrs. Trine, 117—40—77; Mrs. Moore, 112—29-S3; Mrs. Adams, 114 —31—83, had the best cards, a.ad, among the juniors, Mrs. M'Donald, 123-35-98, was first. Those who qualified for the championship were: Miss AVray, 99; Miss Sybil Abraham, 102; Mrs. Melsopp, 109; Miss Moore, 110; Mrs. M'Rao, 110; Mrs. L. A. Abraham, 114; Mrs. Adams, 114; Miss M'Lennan, 116; Miss Mason, 116; and Mrs. L. Seifert, 116.
