LODUE MEETINGS.

Tho Island Bay Lodge of Druids held its usual meeting last Thursday night in St, Hilda's Club room. Invitations were received from Brooklyn Lodge to a, Dutch auction to bo held on Thursday, July 27, and from Coronation Lodge, to an open night, fixed for August 15. It was decided to pay official visits to the lodges named on those dates. Tho Ball Committee reported that the Berhamporo Masonic Hall had "been engaged for the annual dance on August 22, and that tickets were going off well. Tho Amusement Committee prcsrnted a syllabus for lodge nights up to the end of December. After the business of tho evening the. first item on tho syllabus—a question box—was proceeded with, the first three questions providing nn interesting hour's discussion. Visitors present included Bro. J. W. Collins, D.l', of No. 21 District, and Bro. L. IJoock, D.P. of No. 2 District. It was decided that future meetings of tho lodge should bo held in tho Parish Uall, adjacent to tho present lodge room, as )&■ ing larger and more convenient.

There was a laTge attendance of members and friends at the weekly session of the Eclipse Lodge of Good Templars last Friday evening. Bro. M. Morris, C.T., presided. After routine business, the lodge was thrown open, and a large number of friends admitted. Sisters Hansen and Wright wero in charge. A capital programme was rendered, items being given by Miss Haslcm. Messrs. Beale, Potter, Price, Hodges, Morris, M'Kcnzie, Ingram, Shaw, and Brattle. Pofrcshnionts woro provided, and a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the sisters responsible, the visitors, and the performers. Sister Hansen acknowledged the compliment, ft was announced that-the District-Lodge would moot on Tuesday. Next meeting is for tho quarterly election of officers, and a I good attendance is looked for.
