SHIPOWNER'S LAW SUIT.
SETTLEMENT OF THE HOULDER CASE. By Associatl-on-Oopyrlclit London, July 20. The settlement in the Houlder Bros, 'shipping caso was arranged through Lord Furness. Mr. Frank Houlder, in his action, it will be remembered, asked the Court of Chancery to declare an issue of ton thousand .£5 shaves in Houlder Bros., Ltd., to have been fraudulently and collusivcly made. Tho settlement includes the allotment to the Federal Steam Navigation Company, one of the defendants, of fifty thousand iin-issued , shares in Houlder Bros., which are to bo trans forrod to the Furness-Withy Conijiady, which now hold s acontrolling interest in tho Houlder's firm.
