FEATHERSTON. The Fcatherston Literary and Debating Society held a "Mock parliament" on Friday night. Tho opening address was delivered by the "president," Mr. Baker. "Senator" J. \V. Card was elected "Speaker," and Mr. M. Miller "Clerk of the Senate." A "Land Bill" was introduced by the "Secretary for Lauds" ("President" Baker) and a "Labour Bill" by "Senat'or" Fioldhbuse, "Secretary for Labour."
