Four freight cars broke loose at MLeod, in Alberta, and dashed down a hill, colliding with a sleeping car attached to a stationary train. They drove- the sleeping car into tho waiting-room, wrecking the station-house. Many persons were injured. 30 PEOPLE KILLED DAILY IN UNITED STATES. (Rec. July 17, 0.25 a.m.) Washington, July 16. Statistics compiled by tho Inter-State Commerco Commission indicate that thirty persons are killed daily by the American railroads.
