AN IMPORTANT RULING. U.T Teleerapb—Press Associatlon-OopyTifflH London, July 12. Tho High Court has ruled that the banking business of the Birkbeck Bank was ultra vires, and that the shareholders arc not liable for tho losses of depositors, whose only claim is against the assets.
