A majority. of the, members of the Dublin Corporation at .an informal meeting repudiated the claim of the Lord Mayor, Alderman Farrell, to represent tho city in receiving tho King. Tho meeting instructed the City Treasurer to retain the Maco and Sword until the uext council meeting. The resolution was forwarded to the King and the Lord-Lieutenant.
