Baden-Powell, founder of tho Boy Scouts, states that he has been greatly pleased to see so many Boy Scouts in all parts of the United Kingdom, and also the oversea Dominions. He welcomes the opportunity of showing his appreciation of the great voluntary work done by men and women of all classes in striving to promote progress and sound training in education among the Empire's rising generation.. His Majesty congratulated General Baden-Powell on the remarkable results the Boy Scout movement had achieved, and said.he was sure tho boys of the Empire would show their gratitude for tho encouragement so generously given by various organisations at Home and abroad and would endeavour to become God-fear-ing, useful citizens. REVIEW' IN WINDSOR PARK. London, July 4. King George inspected 35,000 Boy Scouts in Windsor Park. Tho Queen, the Prince of Wales, Sir R. S. Baden-Powell, Lord Roberts, and Lord Charles Beresford were present.
