' LONG PRICES FOR MERINOS. By TeleeraDh—Press Association—Oouytlirhl (Rec. July 4, 0.10 a.m.) Sydney, July 3.. There was better competition at tlio sheep sales than last year, owing to tho presenco of South African buyers, who aro after good merinos. The sales, which were mostly of Tasmanian sheep, included Client, a merino ram, 300 guineas; Tradesman, a grand champion housed ram, 362 guineas; a year-old son of Baronet Fifth, reserve champion to Tradesman, 110 guineas; Baronet Fifth, 150 guineas.
