A TASMANIAN MYSTERY.

Sydney, July 2. The barque Claudina, from Callao, reports sighting wreckage, consisting of the mast and spars of a vessel of about 700 tons, in tho vicinity of Lord Howe Is-
land. A quantity of floating timber was also recently sighted in this vicinity.
