THE NATIONALIST ATTITUDE. DECISION NOT TO PARTICIPATE. London, July 30. The Nationalist members of tho; House of Commons met prior to the Coronation to consider whether they should take part in the various functions. Mr. J. E. Redmond, the party leader, predicted that it would benefit the Homo Rulo cause in England if the party participated in the ceremonies. Other members dissented, fearing that it would have a bad effect in Ireland. Thirty-three voted in favour of attending the ceremonies and twenty-nine against. Thereupon Mr. T. O'Connor emphasised the danger of cleavage, and hence it was resolved to abstain from attending.
