ST. PAUL'S PARISH, THORNBON.
HEV. A. M. JOHNSON TO BE VICAR.
The Rev. A. 11. Johnson, vicar of St. Stark's, has accepted the charge of St. Paul's Parish, Thorndon, which was recently rendered vacant by the elevation of tho Rev. T. H. Sprott to the Bishopric of.the Welfetou^iocese, Prior to succeeding tho late Kev. Yv. Coffey as Vicar of St. Mark's, Mr. Johnson was for some years in chnißo 'of tho Masterton parish. He is a graduate of Cambridge University, and was ordained as priest in 1895. After two years in Surrey ho was appointed curate of St. Peter's, Wellington, in IS9G, and three years later was stationed at Grcytown, where ho remained until his appointment as Vicar of Masterton in 1905.
