WAIRARAPA MATCHES. (By Teiecrapn.— Special Correspondent.} Cartertcn, June 20. .Cafterton seniors defeated 'Excelsior by 3 goals to nil. Greytown ladies beat Carterton ladies by 7 goals to nil. Dalefield ladies beat Ramblers by 2 goals to nil. MANAWATU HOCKEY. As the Wanganui representatives were unable to come to Palracrston on Wednesday, the local championship matches were continued with the following results:— .Seniors.—Palmerston B drew with Feilding, Each scoring a goal; Post Office beat Methodists by 5 to 1; and Old Boys ran over Palmcrston A to the tune of 9 to 1. ' ' In the ladies' competitions, Old Girls beat Technical School by 3.t0 nil; Hinemoa A defeated Camnbdl Street School by 3 to nil; and High School easily defeated Hi nemoa B by 0 to nothing.
