Towards noon it cleared and sunshine followed, occasionally dulled by clouds. Jlasterton, Juno 28.—The Bev. A. Hodgo reported at six o'clock to-night for the previous twenty-four hours as follows:— Shade temperature, maximum 50deg.. minimum 36deg., mean 43dcg.; earth radiation, 30tlcg.; earth temperature (lft. below ground), 47deg.; wind, S.: rain, 2.8 inches; weather cold. Hastings, June 28.—T0-day has been characterised by low temperatures, and fairly heavy showers; a typical winter's day.
