.... ; —-V BEOTHEE SHOOTS BEOTHEE. " By TeloErnph—Preß9 Association—Oopyrlcbt (Eec. June 2G, 0.15 a.m.) Sydney, Juno 25. A tragedy has occurred at Kurrikurri, in the Newcastle district. Two brothers named Thomas and Barney Eiley, miners, quarrelled and fought. Afterwards Thomas, securing a revolver, shot Barney dead. Ho has been arrested. TIMBER-GETTERS FALL OUT. .. FATAL CONSEQUENCES. (Eec. June 26, 0.15 a.m.) Perth, Juno 25. A shocking bush tragedy is reported. Three timber-goiters named Smith, Butler, and Wake were camped at Kcllorberrin, Smith quarrelled with tho' others arid left. He subsequently returned to the camp, where Butler was preparing dinner. He struck him on the head with a mattock, knocking him into the fire. A fourth man tried to pull Butler out, but Smith struck him and forced him to desist without seriously injuring him. A search discovered Wake in the bush, his head being terribly battered. Butler and Wake were removed to Northam Hospital. Neither is expected to recover. Smith carried tho mattock to tho police station and surrendered. '
