TEE SYLLABUS AVAILABLE. Competitors and possible competitors ill the contests, vocal, instrumental, literary and elocutionary, will be pleased to learn that the syllabus recently approved by the General Executive Committee of the Wellington competitions has now been printed, and is being distributed by the secretary. Copies will bo exhibited in places where they may ba seen in Wellington anil district towns, but, further than that, tho coinmiltco wish to mako-it known that copies may bo obtained now on application to tho secretary, Mr. James Dykes (of Gua'ter, Dykes and Co.), 1-Yallierston Street, Wellington. Theso competitions have been a great success in Dunedin, Christolim-eh, and Auckland, but there nre indications already that tho Wellington eomwlitions will eclipse all others so far held in tho Dominion.
