The big conference of the Salvation Army is to lie held at Melbourne on July 19. Prior to that he will visit New Plymouth, Eltham, and Patea, and will be present at tho South 'Wellington anniversary celebrations. The conference has been timed so that it may bo attended by the delegates to tho Social Conference of the Army recently hold in London-Col. Hoskin, Brigadier Morcio Morofon, and Brigadier Bray (of New Zealand). Sir Genille Cavo-Brown-Cavo, Bnrt has become a member of the Salvation Army in New York. He is tho twelfth baronst of the line, was born in 1869 and succeeded to tho title in 1907. The heir-presumptive to the baronetcy is Ms cousin, Captain Reginald Ambrose, C.8.C., Mr. Grafton Bolhamley, who underwent an operation for appendicitis yesterday, is reported to lw doiug as well as can be expected.
