FRANCE AND THE LEMTA RAID. By Tclcßraph-Prcss Assodatlon-Copyrlehl Tangier, June 10. The French Government has caused tho children who wero stolen and held by tho Moorish troops after tho raid at Lemta, a suburb of Fez, to bo searched for. They will bo restored to their families when found. The French Government has also demanded that tho Maghzen (Moorish Government) shall end such excesses. The official version of the affair states that the French instructors left the field of battle before the excesses wero committed by tho Moroccan troops.
