FBTJIT AND VEGETABLES. The Wellington market is quite glutted with Island oranges nfc present. Shipments repacked in Auckland arrived in \ Wellington yesterday by the. They have sold lor ! 3s. to 4s. a case. [ The principal importation of fruit this [■ week came by tho JVloeraki on Wednesday 1 from Sydney. The shipment was landed | in good order, Alandarius in gin-cases l sold at from Bs. to 95.; and at .75., in I: packer cases. Other quotations are:— I Passion fruit, ss. to 9s. per half gin-case; ! pineapples, Bs. to 9s. Gd., per double case; f: and lemons, 4s. Gd. to Gs. 6d. per bushel [ case. Cooking pears from Canterbury have Tealised Gs. to 75., and dessert pears 6s. to 12s. a case. ' All vegetables are in fair demand.
