HARBOUR SCHEMES. MR. LESLIE EEYNOLDS'S REPORT. (By TcleErapli.-Press Association.! Wanganui, June IG. The Wanganui Harbour Board to-night .received from Mr. Leslie Reynolds, consalting engineer, his report on the harbour schemes. The estimate provides for a depth at the.entrance of 21 or 25 feet at low water, equal to 32 «• 33 feet at high water, this depth to bo obtained by an extension of tho moles. The estimate also .provides for a floating basin of 25 ncrcs , at , Castleoliffo dredged to a depth of 30ft. below low water. The basin is to be _ enclosed by a. wall, tho total area ■ which .provides for futuro developments being 33 acres. An up-to-dato dredge is also provided for. Tho total estimate for tins work is .£IBB,IOO. The report deals with the deepening of tho channel to a depth of 17ft Mr. Reynolds was also f nit- 0 T i °?
