A MYSTERY.
UNKNOWN WOMAN'S DEATH. . SENSATIONAL DEVELOPMENTS ■ . POSSIBLE. . (By Telegraph—Press Association.! Auckland, Juno 11. An extraordinary case of an unknown woman being found dead in the house of a well-known resident at Kingsland is at present occupying the attention of the Auckland police. Tho whole- affair is at present a mystery, and it is believed that further investigation will lead to the disclosure of.sensational particulars. According to tho information at present in the hands of the detectives, a woman last night called at the house of a wellknown ICingsland resident, and although an utter stranger prevailed upon the lady of tho house to take her in. Subsequently she was allowed to lie down, and a few hours later was found dead.
Tho police describe the body as being 'that of a woman of between 30 and 40 years of age, of stout build and brown hair, and it is believed she came from the country.
