CORONATION CONCERT.

FINE CHORAL SINGING.

Wellington is to bo treated to some fine choral singing at the Coronation concert to be given to tho citizens on the evening of June 22 (Coronation Night) in tho Town Hall. It lias been arranged that the auxiliary choir of 220 voices, which is to assist the Sheffield Choir in "Elijail," will make its first appearance in public on that occasion, and as all are picked voices from the leading'choirs of Wellington,_ the chorus should be tho best heard in Wellington for many years. The choir will sing the Coronation Anthem, "Zadoe the Priest" (Handel), "The Hallelujah Chorus," and "The National Anthem." The Municipal Orchestra will also play some of tho finest selections from its repertoire. The combination ■will make tho concert a notable one.
