Wedding at Bunnythorps. At the Biumythorpe Methodist Church on Wednesday a pretty wedding took place, when iliss Olive Victoria Uevcly, Uftli daughter of Mr. ami Sirs. E. C'eye}v, jiuunythorpp, was married lo Niliuuii Squire, son of the late Mr. Henry Squire, of Timarii. ThoKev. l. 'J'. Thomas was the officiating minister, l lie bride was attended by her sister, Miss Cecile Clevely, and Misses Beatrice Bilks Pratt and Clevely, nicces of the bride. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Charles Squire as best inau, and Mr. Arthur Cldvely as groomsman. Tho church, was prettily decorated for the occasion, and after the ceremony the wedding party drove to tlie horn? of the. bride, where the wedding breakfast was given, a large number of friends and relatives be in£? present. The usual toasts were honoured. The future homo of Mr. and Mrs. Varley will be in Apiti. \ Public Trust Dancc, The annual dance of v the staff of tho Public Trust CJllice was - held in the Sydney Street Schoolroom last evening, and proved to bo a very enjoyable affair. Tho room had been prettily decorated for trie occasion, and the stage made a very comfortable resting plaec for those who aid not dance. The. floor, was not too crowded,-and- excellent music had been provided, so good that it seemed a pity to! waste any of it in sitting out. A small "farewell" was given by Mrs. P. V.
