THE NECKLACE CASE.
THREE YEARS' IMPRISONMENT. By Telegraph—Pi;ess Association—Copyrlehl (Rec. June i, 5.5 p.m.) London, Juno 3. The trial of Lieutenant Cameron and his. wife on the charge of attempting to defraud an insurance company by falsely representing that an insured necklace had been stolen was concluded at Edinburgh to-day. Mrs. Cameron called evidence to prove that she was seen wearing a necklace of real pearls after the borrowed ones had been returned. The accused were found guilty, and were each sentenced to three years' imprisonment.
