Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report:At Upper Kutt yesterday we submitted a fair yarding of sheep anil o, large one of cattle. Sheep sold well, especially fats, which were keenly competed for, wethers bringing up to 17s. Cattle were also in pood demand, and only a small number of the varding was passed in. Dalgety and Company report:— At the Falraerstan sale yesterday there was a fair yarding of sheep and a medium yarding of cittle, which sold at late market rales. The \cw Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:-On Monday we held a tale of dairy cows (in conjunction with Messrs. Dalgety ant'. Co.). on behalf of Mr. F. E. 11. Lovelock. Early calvers sold well, makins up to £11. The herd averaged £7 ss. There was no demand for cows calviiiß late.. Koberstein, of Taikorea, with most satisfactory results. ' The cows were mostly of Holstein and Jersey cross, and were in great condition, and the majority tiiried to calve early. There was a large attendance of local and outside buyers. and bidding was brisk throughout. . The whole herd averaged £9 45.; the highest price being £15 ids. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report—At our Palmerston North- sale on Thursday a small yaTdinc of all classes of stock met with very little inquiry. _ Sales were made at the following quotations:— Two-tooth wethers, 10s. 7d. to 10s. 9d.; light fat ewes, 11s. lid.; cull ewes in lamb, ss.
