. A FATAL FALL. (By Telosraph.—Pres3 Association.! Christchurch, June 1. Mrs. Roberts, who fell over a cliff at Lytteltoh on Monday last, died at the hospital to-night, not having regained consciousness. AN INJURED MOTOEMAN. Christthurch, June 1. Motorman Musgrove, who waa injured in a tramway accident, is still unconscious, and is in a precarious condition. SUDDEN DEATH. Henry Chalker, 80 years of age, a married'man, residing at Northland, fell on the road there yesterday, and expired shortly afterwards. The body was removed to the morgue, but Dr. Mnthew Holmes subsequently gave a certificate as to the cause of death, and an inquest will not be necessary. Deceased came to Port Chalmers from Melbourne nearly fifty vears ago, and was a well-known waterman there, and later in Wellington. About-four years ago he retired from his occupation owing to rheumatism, and had since been living at Northland. William Hobmen, a youth 18 years of age residing at Vallanco Street, Kilbirliie,' had his hand badly cut by the circular saw yesterday at the mill where he is employed. He was removed to the hospital. Malcolm Armit, a lad twelve years of age, residing with his parents at 118 Austin Street, broke his leg while playing football yesterday, and is now an inmate of the hospital.
