THE NECKLACE CASE.
« ALLEGED INSURANCE FRAUD. By TeleerapU— Press Association—Copyricht London, June 1. The trial of Lieutenant Cameron and his wife on the charge of attempting to defraud an insurance company by falsely representing that an insured necklace had been stolen was continued at Edinburgh to-day. A representative of Carringtons, a firm of jewellers in Regent Street, testified that Mrs. Cameron had obtained a pearl necklace on approval, and asked for assistance in negotiating an insurance. The necklace was returned, and she afterwards got an imitation pearl necklace.
