LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held thek-usual stock sale at Waipnkuraii yesterday,- when they offered 4200 sheen and 380 cattle to a large attendance. Bidding was dull right throughout the sale, but they managed to clear most of the entries. Cattle: 53 Polled Angus twoyear steers, £4 55.; 49 steers, £3 IDs.- wenn«r steers, 18s. to £1 17s. 6d. Sheep: Pat r VC fi 10? - J, ld - t0 12s ' : sraa " sho "> lambs, 6s. Id.; well-grown Rood-conditioned lambs, 75.. 7s. 9d. to Bs.: fat and forward wethere 135.; sound-mouth ewes in lamb, 7s.
