.Mails for the Commonwealth of Australia only, via Newcastle, close at. Dunedin, per Whangapc, at 11 a.m. to-day. On Saturday, June 3 (King's Birthday), the Post Office will bo open in all it* branches (except the money-order department) from 9 to 10. a.m. Mails by steamoi'B sailing on that day will close at 8 ,*.m. The only dispatches by trains will bo for tho Wairarapa district, which will close at 6.30 a.m.; and those for tho Manawatu. Wanganui, Taranaki, Hawke's Hay, end Auckland districts, which will close at 8 a.m. There will bo no day clearances of the city and suburban receivers.
