LAST MONTH'S FIGURES. Reporting upon the operations of the City Tramway and Lighting Department during the month of April last, tho engineer and manager (Mr. S. Richardson) states that tho total tramway and power supply revenue for the four weeks ended April 28 amounted to ,£10,935, an increaso of 41811, as compared with the corresponding period of last year. The total working expenses amounted to .€7639, or .£245 more than the previous year. After allowing for proportion of estimated capital charges the net result is a credit balance of «CSG2, as compared with ,£350 last year.
