6 — (From Our Special Correspondents.) Wanganui, May 29—Dull day with occasional glimpse* of warm sunshine; indications for mild night; river falling and now almost normal. Feilding, May 29—Fine morning; dull afternoon; calm night. Shannon, May 29—Sunday hero opened cloudy, but, during the day, brightened up and remained dry. Monday was dull and dry. Featherston, May ■ 29,-Overcast; sun shining at intervals; atmosphere still varm. No rain has fallen since Saturday. Carterton, May 29—Monday's weather at Carterton was fine, but cloudy, with strong indications for rain. Greytown — Sunday proved a beautifully fine day, with clear sky and light westerly wind. The atmosphere was very mild on Monday. The thermometer at 9 a.m. registered 50deg. F.; sky cloudy. At 2.30 it was still cloudy, but there was no rain in the valley, although it was raining on the higher ranges. Winds light from N.N.W. Hastings, May 29.—Very fine weather at present; light frosts with sunny days. Tonight the sky is very clear.
