A Charles II porringer, - lOloz. in weight, went for .C2OOO, and another, of tho Commonwealth period, realised 411000. A Honry VII spoon realised ,£t3o, and a fifteenth century spoon fetched .£l3O. At Messrs. Puttick and Simpson's a largo salt-glaze loving-cup painted with a norlra.it of the Young Pretender realised MM 10s.
