BETTING IN BOMBAY.
RACE DAYS RESTRICTED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Calcutta, May 28. The Governor of Bombay, Sir George Sydenham Clarke, has notified the Turf Club that owing to the increase of betting on races ho will not allow the Poona and Bombay meetings unless tho racing days are limited to ten, bookmakers abolished, and tho totalisator substituted.
