In the House of Lords, the debato on the Parliament (Veto) Bill was resumed; Lord Selborne (Unionist) declared that it was essential that the House of Lords, however reconstructed, should have the powers belonging to every civilised country, powers sueh as,, at the Government's instance, had been granted to tho Transvaal Upper House in 1907. The debate was adjourned until Monday next.
