At the half-yearly meeting of the Mount Lyell Mining Company,- the chairman stated that the output of tho mine showed a reduction of 15,000 tons. This was due to the fact that the supply of men for labour was less plentiful.' Tho ore showed an improvement, though- tho silver contents wore lower. Tho total ore reserves on March 31 amounted to 2,601,297 tons.
