MR. REDMOND CREATES A SENSATION. By Tekeraph—Press Association— OopyTieht (Rec. May 28, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 27. A sensation has been caused in Dublin by the publication of a letter from Mr. John Redmond, Leader of the Nationalist p»rty, in which ho dissociates himself beforehand from the findings of the Committee appointed by the Government last month to inquire into the financial relations of Ireland frith tho other portions of the United Kingdom. Mr. Redmond states that he stands on the report of the Childers Commission, and declares- that lie reserves absolute liberty of action to his party in the critical and trying times before them. THE RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT ♦ —: OPPOSED BY PAPER MANUFACTURERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—OopyriEht (Rec. May 28, 5.5 p.m.) - Ottawa, May 27. Before the Senate Finance Committee, which is inquiring into the effect of the Reciprocity Agreement, it was admitted that paper production had been restricted so that no over-supply would bring down prices. The paper manufacturers opposed Reciprocity between Canada and the United States.
