COLLEGE GOVERNORS.
Tlio monthly meeting of the Board of Governors of Wellington Collate and the Girls' High School was licld yesterday, there being present: The chairman (llr. A. do B. Brandon), and Slewsrs. J. K. Warburton, U. Lee, W. I' , . Ward, W. 11. Field, jr.P., and W. H. V. Barber. The statement of finances showed a credit of £\"S Bs. 3d., against which were prospective payment* totalling .£1771 Is. 9d. (including ,CIOOO from the additions to the Girls' High School). Prospective receipts in "outstanding foes and rents, including the Government, payment of ,£SG!) (is. Bd., due from i'reo place students, totalled JillSl Of. 3d. On the motion of Sir. Lee, the board decided to have n report prepared, showing how far the reorganisation of the. equipment of the two colleges had been carried out. Jlesi-rs. l'cnt.v nnd Blake, the board s architects, submitted plans for the proposed dairy at (lie Hoys' College,, estimated to cost XIOO,. and to be constructed in lime, with the requirements of the Health Department. Consideration of ilio plans was deferred, wjth a view to certain modifications.
