A collision between a'passenger train and a ballast train at Subway Junction on the Great Western Railway, between "Royal Oak and Westbournc Park Stations, London, resulted in the death of Mr. F. J. rainier, aged twenty-four, a .medical student at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, and in serious injuries' to Mrs. Louisa Cox, aged sixty years, who resides in Ealing.
