A remarkable 'tragedy, the outcome of three years of domestio unhappiness-, has taken place in the city. A German named Kurtz, married Madamo MorosofT, a wealthy widow, iu 1909. Tho pair quarrelled frequently. Yesterday Kurtz thrice shot his wife with a revolver. v Tho woman was taken to tho hospital. Kurtz th«n barricaded the doors of his house, spilt petroleum over the furniture, and fired tlio place. He harangued a crowd from 'the balcony, and ended the 'tragedy by shooting himself in sight of tbo public as tho house became enveloped in flames.
