In accordance with arrangements made bv a committee of the Dunedin Prosby(crv a meeting of members of the lurk Scssous of the hill, boroughs was held last Tuesday night in he Eoslyn Presbyterian Church nail, the Rev. W. Gray Dixon presiding, to consider the question of tho formation of a Cade Corps in connection with the four churches-Morn-ington, Eoslyn, Kaikorai. and Maori Hill. On the motion of the Rev. R. K. 11. seconded by Mr. R. Chisholm. Ihe formation of a Presbyterian Cadet Corns was affirmed to lie desirable, and the Rev. Jlr. Sutherland was authorised to advertise inviting applications for enrolment bv lads of from If to IS years. The Rev. 'Messrs. Sutherland and M'Donald and Messrs. Chisholm and Ferguson were appointed representatives to the Presbytery Committee on the subject. A committee of the Wellington Presbytery was appointed, with powers (Rev. W. Shirer, convener). After careful consideration it was decided unanimously— "That the committee resolves in favour of 'Hoy Scouts Senior Cadet units,' or 'Senior' Cadet units,' in connection with the churches, and especially approves of the former." The appointment of additional chaplains will also receive early attention.
