MEN'S BROTHERHOOD.

Mr. Vf. Scott Bedford was the speaker at tho Brotherhood meeting yesterday afternoon, when there, was a. good attendance 51 r. Bedford's subject was "Half an Hour with Tolstoy." The address proved to l)o a most interesting one, and was listened to with much appreciation. Tho speaker appealed to the young men present to ask themselves tho question, "Why am I here, and what decs God oxpcc't mo to do," assuring them that overy lifo had a mission, and it was their duty to perform that mission manfully and cheerfully. Mr. Biud occupied the chair. Mr. E. Arnold, J.P., proposed a vote of thanks to the speaker, which was heartily carried. Next Sunday afternoon the speaker will bo Mr. Doivdall.
