There are persistent rumours of tho existence of a plot to assassinate General Madero, the revolutionary leader, on his arrival in this city. ANOTHER TOWN CAPTURED. (Rec. May 21, 5.3 p.m.) Mexico City, May 20. Tho Federal troops have evacuated Cuautla,. a health resort, 85 miles distant from the capital, after four days' fighting. The rebels lost a hundred killed and wounded. There is restlessness among the rebels owing to the delay iu the announcement of peace. MADERO EN ROUTE FOR THE CAPITAL. (Rec. May 22, 0.25 a.m. Mexico City, liny 21. Genoral Madero lias left Juarez for Mexico City to complete- the peace arrangements. ?!io armistice may lie extended for ten days.
