SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Showery conditions have prevailed southward, of East Capo in the North Island, but fair weather generally. Moderate to strong south-easterly winds have dominated, and the barometer has continued high, especially in the South Island. Present indications aro for moderate south-easterly winds, veering to easterly northward of Hokitika and Kaikoura, and northerly and westerly breezes elsewhere. Fair weather is probable generally.
