A CANADIAN RAILWAY.
Ottawa, May 12. With a view to aiding the Canadian Northern Trans-Continental Railway, tho Government has agreed to gnarantoe the cost of the line from Montreal to Port Arthur, the liability representing seven million pounds sterling.
