(By Teleeraph.—Press Association.) Ashburtsn, May V>. The Ashburton County llaoiug Club's autumn meeting was. concluded to-day ill line weather. The attendance was again good. The totalisator receipts for the day readied £5878, and for the meeting £11,526 10s., as against £3052 and £6183 respectively last year when bookmakers were in attendance. The winner kd from the start, and notwithstanding a strong oftort by Nightlight in the straight" asted long enough to win by half a length, St. Kevin being two lengths away. Scratched: Outlandcr. After the- initial half mile- had been run The Cornet drew out dear, and though headed by Kilts 100 yards from -homo, linished gamely, winning by a bare length. The winner and Silkweb were first to show up and made tho running till the straight was reached and although Kohinoor beat Silkweb there, Miss Sylvia just maintained tho lead and won by a hoad.
